WordPress
WordPress is the most popular choice when it comes to blogging sites. You can design your blog with a number of pre-made templates or choose from premium themes. You can also download WordPress software that allows computer users to blog directly from their computer instead of having to sign into a website. WordPress also has thousands of plug-ins that are available to bloggers that will allow their blog to do a number of unique things. WordPress is free, although some of the features may require bloggers to pay for them.
Google Blogger
While not as popular as WordPress, Blogger is a popular choice for bloggers. Blogger is probably the most user friendly blog site out there on the Internet. The interface for the blog is very easy to understand and everything is clearly labeled. Templates are offered through Google Blogger and are easy to apply to the blog. One of the unique benefits of Blogger is the ability to apply Google AdSense to the blog to allow bloggers to generate income from traffic that comes to the blog. Blogger is free for bloggers; all that is required is a Google account.
